My Story
As a Paraprofessional Counselor working with non-profit programs, I am trained to listen with an empathetic ear and to discover the unique value in each person’s journey. Working with members of these communities reinforces my core values. I believe an essential key to living a meaningful, quality life is to recognize that each and every individual is unique. Each of us has an extraordinary story to share, with inalienable rights to be seen, heard, understood and believed. I remain grateful and humbled to sit beside such brave souls, as they demonstrate that the ability to create one’s own road map is a common, yet collective, innate necessity.

As a Group Leader I encourage my group members to be active participants and effective listeners. I lead Parenting groups, Career transition groups and Support groups. I believe in creating a safe, inclusive environment where members feel empowered and respected. I am skilled in guiding discussions and allowing the flow of topics to be natural and organic to the group. I am committed to supporting members with resources and tools, as well as maintaining the connection and confidentiality of the group.

As a Grief Group Counselor for teens in schools, I possess meaningful tools and coping skills to guide students through their grief. These teens demonstrate strength and vulnerability while sharing their own stories with courageous compassion. Students share with the group, building mutual trust and further solidifying our connections. Our group holds space for peers to grieve, while honoring the memory of their loved ones. I feel fortunate to be part of the teens' exploration, as they grappled with understanding their own grief; truly a universal, and tragic reality all individuals must inevitably encounter.
As a Casting Director for over 20 years, my experiences have been captivating, introducing me to a myriad of charismatic characters. My focus was always to guide actors in developing their own perspective on a role. I recognized the instant impact, and clarity cultivated as we established a genuine connection. Each person walking into my office felt seen, heard and understood. I developed a keen intuition, enabling me to support and guide creative individuals to design their unique blueprint for success. By empowering artists to find their own voice, and providing a safe space for exploration, individuals embraced their new adjusted mindset. Time and time again, I witnessed the impactful results having ripple effects on other aspects of their lives.
